Jobs Responsibility:
- The appointee will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Help in the creation of a solid SOE/RMA framework and play a key role at quarter end by driving profits and reserve movement analyses.
- As part of the annual and off-cycle processes, support valuation reviews and controls of assumptions. Work closely with line actuaries in reviewing, enhancing, and streamlining pricing methods of analysis and procedures, as well as ensuring that value is completed in compliance with appropriate guidelines and actual financial norms.
- Support the development of IFRS 17 valuation methodologies and procedures, as well as the Qlik SOE reporting framework’s success.
- Perform the needed financial evaluation and assist with LICAT filing.
- Help with the development of IFRS17 valuation methodologies and procedures, as well as the Qlik SOE disclosure new framework performance.
- Facilitate the creation of different valuation deliverables for Group Units and other customers
- IFRS Assessment works with a variety of departments, including Pricing, CALM, Modelling/Production, Life NAIC, US Section, Associate Insurance, and Chief Finance Probabilistic, to coach junior students and develop good partnerships.
